February 18, 1937 - Robert Blodgett's dairy barn
burned, as well as 24 of his Guernseys. Located on Hwy 101 (across from the
Wayzata School Administration Building.) The barn had a glass front so
passersby could watch the milking operation. He had three trucks and ten
employees, but went out of business a year after the fire. (See
