Summit Park, built by Samuel H. Bowman Sr., consisted of 360 acres of farm land north of the "Highlands" where Wayzata Country Club is located today. Bowman's operated the dairy until 1935 leasing the newer grambrel roofed barn to Harold and Augie Sween. These brothers produced dairy products and grew fresh produce for restaurants in Minneapolis.
