Pictured is the wood-burning locomotive "St. Cloud #7". It first arrived in Wayzata in 1867 pulling one passenger car. For many years this was the end of the line from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The engine was turned around on a turntable by horses for the return trip.  Meeting the train is the first steamer on Lake Minnetonka, the Governor Ramsey.
